Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, You will be met by our Sanki Leisure staff and English speaking Chauffeur Guide, and transfer to Dambulla. En route visit the Pinnwala Elephant Orphanage. This elephant Orphanage is setup especially for Abandoned or injured baby elephants. They are reared here and are trained to become working animals. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see the animal’s close-up. Check in to the hotel in Dambulla.
After breakfast, visit Nuwara-Eliya. NuwaraEliya (City Of Lights), Blessed With Salubrious Climate, Breathtaking Views Of Valleys, Meadows, Mountains And Greenery; Surrounded By Hills And Tea Plantations, The Town Of NuwaraEliya Enjoys Spring-Like Weather Throughout The Year. It Is Also Known As “Little England”, Which Was The Favorite Hill Station Of The British Who Tried To Create NuwaraEliya Into A Typical English Village. The Old Brick Post Office, Country House Like Hill Club With Its Hunting Pictures, Trophies And Strict Formal Dinner Attire; The 18 Hole Golf Course, Horse Race Course, Etc., All Remind You Of “England”. During The City Tour In NuwaraEliya You Will Visit The Main Attractions Of The Town Which Include The Golf Course, Trout Streams, Victoria Park, And Boating Or Fishing On Lake Gregory. You Can Also Visit A Working Tea Factory Where The Slow-Growing Tea Bushes Of This Highland Region Produce Some Of The World's Finest Orange Pekoe Tea. After breakfast you will leave for Anuradhapura. Sightseeing of the ancient city of Anuradhapura, considered the birthplace of Sinhala civilization & one of the world’s largest archaeological sites. It is considered as the greatest monastic city of the ancient world, & was founded in the 5th century BC. Proceed to Giritale for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast proceed to Polonaruwa the capital of Sri Lanka from the 11th to the 13th century AD. This ancient city is today one of the most beautiful centers of this island’s cultural heritage. And then visit Sigiriya rock fortress which is tipped to be the 8th wonder of the world. Then proceed to hill capital Kandy.
After breakfast, visit Colombo. Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, has a long history as a port on ancient east-west trade routes, ruled successively by the Portuguese, Dutch and British.Mixing colonial buildings with high-rises and shopping malls. The imposing Colombo National Museum, dedicated to Sri Lankan history,Visit to National Museum of Colombo, also known as the Sri Lanka National Museum is one of two museums in Colombo. It is the largest museum in Sri Lanka. And Visit to The Galle Face is a five hectare ocean-side urban park, which stretches for a half kilometer along the coast, in the heart of the financial and business district of Colombo.
